One of the most wonderful things in my work is having the privilege to be involved in the lives of others at significant milestones of their lives. Which is why I chose to specialize in weddings.

I’ve turned down assignments other than weddings for that reason. Quite recently, I’ve been informed of the good news by one of the couples I photographed last year – they’re expecting a baby In spite of the fact that Jolene and David’s wedding was over in July last year, Jolene had been following my work since then, keeping in touch, sending mails of encouragement and congratulations as my photography matures.  She then asked me to do a pre-natal session with her, even though I had absolutely no idea how to go about it and had no portfolio of pre/post natal photography to show off.

Her confidence in my work convinced me that I have to be involved in this milestone of their lives.

Fast-forward till more recently, we finally did the pre-natal session, which I’m now sharing with you.  The session was a blast, and we’re definitely looking forward to the post-natal session.  Can’t wait for the new baby!
