One in a Million

Leonard and Shirley’s love story is one that we often read about in love stories and long for in movies. They’re childhood sweethearts who have known each other since primary school (that’s right). One might assume that they’ve parted over the years and only crossed each other’s paths in adulthood.
Nope.
They went to the same Secondary school and began dating then. Unlike the typical teenage romance which many of us moved on from for various reasons, their love survived the test of the years until they held their wedding in the charming Intercontinental Hotel – and I had the privilege to photograph their wedding and witness the milestone of their lives in the most meaningful way I know.
Leonard and Shirley wanted to share their story and to our delight, Style Weddings Online agreed to publish it. You can read the story at Style Weddings here.
Hi Bro, I believe this reply is long overdue. Almost 1 year on since our Wedding on 27 Nov 08, I finally have some time to pen a few thoughts! 1 year on… the financial crisis is perceived to be over, we have moved into our new house and a new baby girl, Andrea, has come into our lives! Indeed a new beginning… and many new chapters written in the span of one year..
Shirley and I could never thank you enough for capturing that special day. It seemed like only yesterday that we were having the biggest day of our lives. The frantic schedule, the massive coordination, the endless smiles and joyful tribulations… You captured the moments that stand the test of time. Whenever we share the photo albums with relatives, friends and guests that visit our humble home, the pictures invoke the same emotions as we felt both as a wedding couple and as guests on that wedding day. Feelings of joy, comfort, pride, jubilation, stress, disbelief and relief were certainly felt. I am not a professional photographer like yourself, but we agree that such emotions can only be summoned by the true mark of one.
Thank you for making our wedding day a memorable one.
Drop by my place anytime for that beer we agreed. Free flow!
Cheers
Leonard, Shirley and Baby Andrea
